Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant

Meltwater is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to join and drive recruitment in Africa and across Europe. You will quickly establish yourself as a key business partner to proactively run the end-to-end recruitment process and focus on providing exceptional candidate and hiring lead experience. You will be a part of a dynamic global Talent and people team, who are at an exciting stage of implementing new people systems and best practice processes to support our ambitious growth plans.

This position will be based in Cape Town and will be a hybrid role.

What you can expect:
  • Own recruitment process from start to finish across EMEA Delivery Services and Sales functions; from attraction/advertising, job descriptions, market mapping, direct sourcing, phone screening and interviewing, conducting interview feedback, and preparing offers for approval and execution
  • Partner with, and develop strong relationships with regional hiring leaders to understand their recruitment needs, coach and advise on our recruitment process, and meet the growing talent needs of each department
  • Provide a consistent and positive candidate experience
  • Engage and manage external stakeholders to develop relationships with Universities, to build an external bench of talent, and hire for critical roles
  • Ensure that every hiring process reflects diverse talent across gender, ethnicity, and other dimensions to foster a thriving culture of DEI in the organization
What you will bring:
  • 5-7+ years of corporate or agency recruiting experience, working with hiring leaders from a variety of countries and cultures to develop their recruitment capability
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Accustomed to working autonomously and as part of a global team, in a fast-paced organization with ambitious growth plans and a track record of hiring exceptional and diverse talent
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities, work under pressure, and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to be flexible, tenacious, and take ownership of deliverables and outcomes
  • Skills recruiting for Delivery Services and Sales roles
  • Experience in formulating strategies and action plans related to recruitment campaigns, talent attraction techniques, and direct sourcing within the EMEA market
  • Data-driven with strong analytical skills and a desire to establish meaningful global reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and the ability to be detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Collaborative at the core, actively seeking out feedback and new opinions
  • Comfortable working in an agile and truly global environment
