We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with the ability to work on both front-end and back-end projects. You will be responsible for leading development projects, mentoring junior developers, and delivering high-quality web solutions that meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, Develop, Test and Document advanced e-commerce solutions for our clients
- Develop and write best practice code that are generic and reusable
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Develop customer-specific and generic Magento modules
- Develop integrations between Magento and 3rd Party Products
- Improve our own continuous deployment platform which supports a large number of our clients
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge.
- Bachelors (or similar) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with a focus on both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Frontend Development: Proficiency in frameworks like React and Angular, with a strong understanding of component-based architecture and building dynamic, user-focused interfaces.
- Backend Development: Familiarity with Node.js for server-side scripting, API development, and managing scalable, event-driven applications.
- While not mandatory, expertise in these areas will set candidates apart and align closely with the technologies we use in our projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
