Consultant – People Services (HR)

We are looking for a Consultant People Services to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg (Hybrid).

Responsibilities
  • Acting as an advisor on the full spectrum of People Services.
  • Drive People Services delivery, ensuring timely and effective resolution of employee queries, concerns, and challenges.
  • Proactively identify People Services-related challenges and opportunities within the organization, taking decisive action to address them.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of People Services strategies that support business goals.
  • Recommend onboarding strategies to business leaders to enhance retention of new hires.
  • Welcoming new employees and onboarding them in a manner which drives rapid integration.
  • Working closely with the client engagement management to provide and increase employee engagement.
  • Driving and facilitating a high performance and continuous improvement culture and implement an accelerated rewards and recognition programme.
  • Employee handbook, policy and procedure development.
  • Bringing your creativity and sense of fun by helping plan employee social and team building events together with the Expleo brand ambassadors.
  • Be part of the EE Committee, ensure agenda is prepared and distributed timeously. Ensure all action items are completed prior to next committee meeting.
  • Reporting (Weekly, Monthly, Group reporting and Annual Employment Equity).
  • Utilize HR analytics and data to assess trends Exit Process, Employee retention and attrition.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in the IT industry with 3 years specifically in consulting.
  • Professional Registration in HR, SABPP (desirable).
  • Experience working in an SME.
  • Strong computer literacy and technologically savvy in the MS Office suite.
  • Quick learner on HR related systems and processes.
  • Success Factors and SAP knowledge (desirable).
Skills
  • Business partnering/consulting.
  • Successfully coordinated a Graduate / Youth Employment programme.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Regulatory governance and compliance (Labour and Employee Relations).
