SERVICE DESK TECHNICIAN

The requirements would be :

  • Must have 2- 3 years Previous experience in a helpdesk or ServiceDesk role
  • An IT related qualification will be beneficial
  • Customer service orientated and cool tempered
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Must be able to Multitask
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Team player
  • Good Time management skills

 

Duties

  • Troubleshooting faults telephonically
  • Offering remote support on the following items: Printers, PC’s, Servers & PABX systems
  • Following up on Job statuses
  • Ensuring resolution within SLA
  • Escalating and assigning jobs that have not been resolved telephonically
  • Must be available immediately
  • Willing to work shifts or overtime if needed.
