SHIFT MAINTENANCE MANAGER (FMCG APPLICANTS ONLY)

If your an FMCG Maintenance Manager with at least 5-8 years experience in this role and hold a minimum of an N6 (preferably BTec) then this is for you.My client is a large FMCG company that manufacture and package Frozen Vegetables and French Fries. Responsibilities Effective leadership and management of a multidisciplinary, shift engineering team to deliver required level of maintenance to ensure that the plant is available to deliver the required business result per shift. Effective control of artisans, including overtime, productivity and quality of work performed Effective financial management and control of maintenance and repair spend in their area of control. Effective execution of the plant preventative maintenance system to ensure maximum plant efficiency and maximise up time in their area of control (minimize breakdowns) Effective planning and execution, including timeous spares procurement, of planned repair and breakdown repairs in their area of control. Active identification of improvement opportunities,_ execution and support of the continuous improvement projects to support plant drive to improve quality, yield and throughput whilst minimizing cost. Execution of and adherence to all food safety requirements (HACCP/GMP) including internal food safety auditing as pertains to the engineering function.
