Astra Contracting is seeking an experienced Foreman to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing building projects, managing site teams, and ensuring work is completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities
- Manage labour teams and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with building plans, specifications, and safety regulations
- Monitor quality of workmanship and materials
- Liaise with project managers and suppliers
- Maintain site discipline and productivity
- Relevant building industry qualification(s)
- Proven experience as a Foreman in the construction/building industry
- Valid drivers licence
- Reliable transport
- Clear criminal record
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
