The Site Supervisor is responsible for managing all phases of assigned projects with a strong focus on quality assurance, time management, and stakeholder engagement. This includes overseeing site activities, ensuring compliance with approvals, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily on-site activities to ensure timeous delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage the rollout phase of projects with a focus on deadlines, quality outputs, and compliance.
- Conduct pre-QA inspections, verify build quantities, and ensure BOQ sign-offs.
- Review and confirm accuracy of site plans, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Guide and support contractors to achieve project milestones.
- Identify risks, formulate corrective action plans, and resolve discrepancies to prevent delays.
- Ensure all wayleaves and landlord approvals are obtained and remain valid throughout project lifecycle.
- Facilitate kick-off and sign-off meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage customer relations as required and address site-related concerns.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project status, issues, or delays.
- Verify HOD packs and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Matric / Grade 12
- Minimum of 3 years experience in site management.
- Proven ability to read and interpret As-Build/redline plans.
- Minimum 2 years working knowledge of all aspects of telecommunications with a basic understanding of fibre.
