Cost Accountant

Were seeking a young Cost Accountant interested in joining a well established industrial supplier to the engineering and manufacturing sector, in Epping, Western Cape. This company enjoys strong brand recognition within the sector. This role will appeal to someone who would like to move into the direction of cost and management accounting.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To support Sales and Finance Depts by analyzing margins and costs; and provide input into selling prices.
• Investigate production variances, and efficiencies, within a contract engineering environment.
• Provide financial aspect into production and costing processes, and monitor Work In progress accounts.
• Some input into more traditional finance aspects..

Desired Qualifications, Experience And Attributes

• PA(SA) / AGA(SA) / Part CGMA or B Degree in Accounting.
• Strong in both Afrikaans and English
• Driven, analytical, team player, detail oriented.
• Some experience in cost accounting is beneficial, but not critical - strong interest in cost accounting a must!

CTC range

• R25, 000 - R35, 000 per month very dependent on experience and qualifications.
