What You'll Do
As our Social Media Manager, you will be at the heart of building and nurturing our online communities. Your role will include:
Community Management
- Daily monitoring of all social pages
- Responding to and engaging with our community quickly, warmly, and professionally
- Escalating complaints to Customer Care and ensuring full resolution
- Assisting with social content scheduling
- Supporting the creation of engaging posts and exciting competitions
- Delivering monthly reporting, insights, and performance tracking
- Bringing conceptual thinking to every touchpoint because great content builds great communities
- Conceptualising and designing thumb-stopping social media posts in line with brand CI
- Creating digital layouts and creative adaptations for various platforms
- Supporting campaign development through strong, fresh creative work
- Working closely with the full marketing team
- Suggesting new features, content ideas, promotions, and competitions that grow brand awareness
- Staying ahead of emerging trends, tools, and technologies
- Providing after-hours or weekend community support when needed
- Matric
- 3+ years' experience in Community Management or Social Media Management
- Excellent writing and copy-driving ability
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Strong multitasking abilities across multiple pages and platforms
- A future-focused mindset trend-aware and innovation-driven
- A genuine passion for digital and social media
- A strong customer-service orientation
- The ability to work independently while contributing meaningfully to a team
