We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Lead to drive the growth and impact of Plumms and our CEO's brand. This role involves developing and executing innovative social media strategies, managing a team, and ensuring alignment with both brands overall marketing goals. You will play a key role in shaping our online presence and building meaningful engagement across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for our CEOs brand and Plumm.
- Set performance benchmarks and KPIs to measure success.
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of social media executives.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
- Content Ideation & Creation:
- Manage the creation of high-quality, engaging content (copy, designs, videos) tailored to each platform and brand.
- Social Media Management:
- Manage Plumm's and the CEOs social media accounts across various social media platforms.
- Maintain consistent posting schedules while ensuring top-notch quality.
- Community Engagement:
- Build an engaged and positive online community by ensuring interaction with followers, responding to comments, and managing direct messages.
- Cultivate relationships with influencers and industry thought leaders.
- Trend Monitoring & Innovation:
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and algorithms.
- Experiment with new formats and platforms to maximise reach and engagement.
- Analytics & Optimisation:
- Track and report on social media performance metrics, deriving actionable insights to refine strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement and growth based on data.
- Crisis & Reputation Management:
- Proactively address and resolve any social media crises to protect and enhance the brands reputation.
- Experience:
- 4+ years of proven experience in social media management, including building and scaling personal brands.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring or managing team members.
- Skills:
- Expertise in social media platforms, analytics tools, and content creation tools.
- Exceptional communication, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attitude:
- Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Education:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. Experience and attitude will be prioritised.
