Role Mission
As a Mining Solutions Consultant, you will implement the MineRP platform for clients by understanding their business objectives, executing solution designs, configuration, training, and entrenchment activities. Success in this role is measured by profitability, turnaround time, and the quality of project delivery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Implementation and Solution Design
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the client's business needs and project value objectives.
- Participate in solution implementation and entrenchment design.
- Configure solutions in line with the Inbound and Outbound Books of Standards.
- Perform software and solution testing.
- Develop training materials and deliver training to clients.
- Facilitate software adoption in alignment with client processes and objectives.
- Provide front-line client support and log support tickets per standard procedures.
- Execute business process mapping for As-Is and To-Be client workflows when required.
- Contribute to refining implementation methods and procedures.
- Provide feedback to the Product Management and Development teams for product enhancement.
- Maintain documentation of planned and executed standardized configurations.
- Support standardization efforts across client sites and methods.
- Ensure safety in the workplace and report incidents or near misses.
- Comply with all HSE rules and requirements as outlined by the company.
- Align with and support the companys sustainability goals.
- Pursue activities outlined in the Personal Development Plan.
- Share knowledge and participate in skill development initiatives.
Educational Background
- Degree or diploma in Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is acceptable.
- Practical mining exposure, including mine planning, design, and scheduling processes.
- Experience working in a consulting environment, preferably in mining.
- Proven experience in business or mining-related implementation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective multitasking and communication abilities.
