Purpose of the Role
This opportunity requires a like-minded individual and someone who knows how to prepare a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement. The role entails, reconciliations, journals and financial reporting.
The individual will report to the Financial Controller and will work closely will their likeminded team.

Job Description
As a Financial Accountant, you will prepare journals, reconcile accounts and prepare management accounts for multiple companies within the group.
The candidate will be expected to but not limited to:

• Perform bookkeeping functions including:
• Journals
• Income Statement & General Ledger Analysis
• Vat Calculations and Reconciliations
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Balancing Intercompany loan accounts
• Management Accounts
• Ad Hoc Reporting
• Cash Flow Management Daily
• Checking Bank Reconciliations daily
• Subscriptions account management and query resolving
• Stock control
• Fixed assets control
• Load banking transactions
• Transfers between accounts
• Forex payments
• 3rd party payments
• 1st Release of all EFT payments and debit orders batches.
• Double check and approve Debtors invoice and reconciliations.
• Double check and approve Creditors Bills and reconciliations.
• Audit Assistance Prepare audit packs and liaise with auditors.

Minimum Requirements

• The individual must have a BCom degree, with a major in accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting practice
