Steward

To clean Officers accommodation and assist the cook on the Dredger with galley duties to ensure a health clean living environment.Position Outputs

• Cleans accommodation & toilets.
• Assist Cook with preparation of food.
• Washing of dishes & cutlery.
• Clean mess room and galley.
• Prepares mess room for meals.
• Assist Cook with daily requirements of victualising.
• Assist in reqular stock taking.
• Assist with packing and cleaning of stores & fridges.
• Clean and keep laundry room neat and hygienic.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12
• SAMSA medical certificate - valid
• STCW compliant ancillary courses
• Minimum 1 yr relevant experience on a vessel as a steward would be advantageous
• Basic Certificate of Competency would be advantageousCompetenciesKnowledge:-
