Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Pretoria for a Risk Manager. The Risk Manager will be responsible for analyzing and identifying potential risks that the company may encounter, developing and implementing risk management plans, and providing guidance and training to staff on risk management procedures. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and monitor risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in risk management
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and risk management frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks in a timely and effective manner
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and departments
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to risk management
- Experience in the financial or insurance industry is a plus
