- Take a practical role in optimization of technical stores systems and resources ensuring plant/process
- Monitoring process and systems conditions and trends to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Engage in liaison with other stakeholders such as suppliers, direct line management, production, engineering and maintenance.
- Work on equipment repair and manufacturing facility.
- Receive and inspects materials ordered from suppliers.
- Prepare stores delivery notes for the goods to be dispatched to the various destinations
- Filing of documents as per the inventory processes
- Conducting stock counts
- Prepare stores delivery notes for all items dispatched from stores
- Receipting of stock on SAP
- Binning of Stock
- Picking of Redundant spares
- Issuing of spares
- Coordinate transfers of stock from mill to mill
- Report incidents and stock outs to Head of stores and shift coordinator
- Offloading delivery trucks
- Operating of heavy machinery.
- Tertiary education in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum NQF level 5.
- 3 5 years experience in a technical, operations or stores environment.
- SAP / WMS experience
