- To order inventory based on SKU forecasts to maximize inventory availability.
- To create and distribute DC to store specific allocations to maximize inventory availability.
- To collaborate with the planner on inventory exceptions (short/late deliveries, reasons for out of stocks, etc.) and assist with resolving the issues to maximize inventory availability.
- To liaise with the relevant stakeholders (DC, Vendors, Stores and Category etc.) to resolve replenishment queries to maximize inventory availability.
- To provide on-going updates to the planner on promotional stock flow to ensure inventory availability for promotions.
- To support and assist the planner with adhoc inventory related requests.
- Generate and collate information and then apply sound business thinking to provide the category team with insights to assist the team to plan and manage the category effectively.
- To place new line, promotional and pipe fill orders and /or other ad hoc orders to ensure inventory availability for promotions.
EDUCATION:
Essential
- Diploma in Purchasing/Business Management
- B.Com degree - Financial/Retail Management
- 1-3 years Planning experience in retail or other related working environments
- FMCG experience
