Group Tax Assistant Accountant (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Position Overview

There is an exciting new 12 Months Fixed-Term Contract opportunity available with for a Group Tax Assistant Accountant at a sought-after multinational concern.

The main objective will be to support the Group Tax Accountant in the effective management of the tax reporting solutions of Group Tax.

Key Performance Areas

Actively participate, as the Group Tax Prepare a requirements document for the SAP implementation, with the support of the Group Tax Manager and the Group Tax Accountant, and ensure these requirements are incorporated in the SAP project plan/backward integrated into existing SAP S 4 HANA environments.
Function as super user for Vertex.
Act as super user for EPRS:Enterprise Performance Reporting System.
Reporting Cloud Service (TRCS). Obtain employee numbers from the team responsible for preparing the Integrated Report and insert those into TRCS, with the approval of work being undertaken by the GTA.
Skills development - participate in the on-boarding of new employees, providing them with training in relation to the systems that are used by Group Tax for which you act as super user.

Experience, Qualifications And Skills Required

Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Taxation or Bachelor of Commerce with a Higher Diploma in Tax.
Master's in taxation or similar qualification preferred.
CA (SA) will be an advantage.
Minimum of 4 to 6 years' experience in Tax Accounting.
Experience in Designing, Implementing, Configuring, and working with Financial and/or Tax Systems.
Data Modelling, Analytics, and Visualisation experience.
Knowledge of Tax Principles and Transfer Pricing Principles.

Desired Skills
