Role Overview
Indsafri is looking for a results-driven IT Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team in Honeydew, Johannesburg. This is an on-site role suited for a seasoned recruiter who understands the IT and technology landscape and can manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles across various industries, including banking and financial services.
The successful candidate will partner closely with Hiring Managers, Account Managers, to deliver high-quality technical talent within agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end IT recruitment lifecycle (from job briefing to offer and onboarding)
- Source, screen, and place candidates across IT roles including:
- Software Developers
- Business Analysts / Solution Analyst / Systems Analyst
- DevOps / SRE
- Project & Programme Managers
- Salesforce, Data, Cloud & Infrastructure roles
- Work closely with BDMs, Account Managers, and clients to understand role requirements and delivery timelines
- Proactively source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and internal databases
- Conduct competency-based interviews and pre-screenings
- Coordinate interviews, feedback, offers, and contract negotiations
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting
- Ensure compliance with client onboarding, background checks, and internal recruitment processes
- Build and maintain a strong IT talent pipeline
- Support workforce planning and urgent project-based hiring
- Represent Indsafri professionally with candidates and clients
- 4+ years experience in IT / Technical recruitment (in-house)
- Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and terminology
- Experience recruiting for banking or corporate clients is highly advantageous
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple roles simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong administrative discipline
- Ability to work on-site in Honeydew (this is not a remote role)
