Technical Trainer

We're now looking for a Technical Trainer, to facilitate the knowledge and skills transfer of technical expertise to the population within the clients repair network and develop the technical competence of the workforce.

This role will be based at our client's site in Silverton, Tshwane.

Job Summary

Youll deliver well structured training using a variety of learning methodologies, ensuring an excellent student experience and alignment to the clients brand standards. You'll also:
  • Support new model launch, competence and skills gaps.
  • Work with the training Manager and the client central market support team to eliminate any restrictions and deliver a suitable solution.
  • Comply with CMI course delivery requirements/standards.
  • Prepare materials, attendance registers, workstations and other related course materials
  • Report and up-load post-course metrics
  • Maintain own technical knowledge and ability, through on-going self-study, technical training, both local as well as international e.g., Train the Trainer programmes.
  • Technical training of the dealer technical staff, in order to improve the overall diagnostic skill of the dealership personnel, ensure understanding and compliance of available resource libraries (PTS, STARS).
  • Theoretical training into the correct use of workshop equipment, diagnostic equipment and special tools in order that repairs are effective and permanent.
Qualifications

An experienced and proficient Trainer with previous experience of training delivery within the Automotive Industry.

Additionally Well Require
  • Excellent delivery and facilitation skills.
  • Organisational skills with previous administrative experience.
  • Fluency in English and Afrikaans
  • N6 qualification.
  • Proficient user of MS office.
