The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in the FMCG industry and previous experience in dealing with Buyers from Client companies.
The purpose of this role is to establish strong relationships with retail and wholesale customers to promote and grow the brand of product sales and to capture and process orders accurately, efficiently and timeously.
The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements
- Completed Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Sales experience in the FMCG industry
- Experience in the Poultry environment will be an added advantage
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint) at an advanced level
- Good command of the English language with an additional official language is preferable
- Able to multitask with attention to detail and able to work in a highly pressurized and deadline-driven environment
- Punctual and able to work overtime, weekends and public holidays if required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team work, honesty and integrity is critical is this role
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Retail and Wholesale customers
- Responding to sales queries timeously and in a professional manner
- Accurately and efficiently capturing of sales orders to ensure the correct product mix is sent to stores
- Ensuring efficient after-sales-service
- Driving daily targets as set by the business to ensure targets are met and exceeded
- Sales administration duties as required
