Test Analyst

Location: Melbourne CBD, Box Hill , Canberra, Brisbane CBD, Upper Mt Gravatt, Adelaide, Sydney CBD and Perth.
Duration: 6-month contract with 2x12 month extensions.
Eligibility: Australian citizenship with Baseline Security Clearance required.
WFH 2 days per week.

Seeking Test Analysts to join the DAPS Delivery team on an exciting journey within the Data and Analytics Program, revolutionizing the way we harness data through cutting-edge Cloud Services.

About the Role:

As a Tester, you will conduct various phases of testing from function, integration and end to end testing of the ingestion, storage and consumption patterns using Azure/AWS cloud native technologies and some third-party products. Services developed must integrate with multiple existing applications hosted on a range of premise and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

Create, manage, and refine test requirements and scripts for AWS/Azure cloud technologies integrating with both Cloud and Premise applications.
Identify defects, gather defect data, and coordinate resources for issue investigations.
Review and contribute to testing artifacts, including plans, risk assessments, and test specifications.
Enhance and document testing processes, promoting best practices.
Develop, sequence, and prioritize test cases aligned with program objectives.
Collaborate on test improvements and change initiatives.
Apply project management principles to testing objectives.
Evaluate change requests and errors, proposing mitigation strategies.
Support test environment setup and data preparation.
Maintain accurate integrated release records in Team Foundation Server.
Develop automated test scripts.
Investigate and contribute to tech bridges for bugs or incidents.

Skills and experience required:

Knowledge or experience in working with Azure/AWS cloud native services as well as big data/analytics platforms (preferably Teradata Data Warehouse and/or Cloudera Hadoop)
Proficiency in Agile project delivery methodology.
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
