Test Engineers

Job Overview:

We are seeking four experienced Test Engineers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in manual and automation testing, expertise in Java-based test automation frameworks, and experience working in Agile development environments. This role requires active collaboration with development, DevOps, and business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in sprint planning, providing story point estimates and contributing to Agile ceremonies.
• Design, create, and execute complex test cases manually while adhering to test strategies and plans.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot test automation suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and collaborate with teams for defect resolution.
• Design and develop automation test scripts following best practices and existing automation frameworks.
• Conduct code reviews of test scripts before merging into the version control system.
• Work with DevOps teams to define and enhance test execution pipelines for continuous integration (CI/CD).
• Communicate testing activities, findings, and project risks effectively in oral and written formats.
• Develop and manually execute REST APIs or SOAP APIs, automating them within the existing framework.
• Participate in user story reviews, system architecture evaluations, and code/design document reviews.
• Potentially contribute to the development of test automation frameworks under guidance from Test Automation Leads and Architects.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a STEM-related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong expertise in software testing, test automation, and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with technologies/tools including:
• Programming Languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Test Automation Tools: Selenium, WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Ant.
• Development Tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ, Git, Jenkins.
• API Testing Tools: Postman, SOAP UI.
• Testing Methodologies: Data Driven Testing, Keyword Driven Testing, Behavior Driven Testing.
• Web Services Testing: REST, SOAP.
• Proven ability to work independently and ensure quality delivery throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in defining test execution pipelines for CI/CD integration.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate testing activities, findings, and risks.
