ABOUT THE TEAM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support in optimizing deliveries into Distribution Centers (DC) and Point of Initial Stock (PIS) deliveries upstream.
  • Address and improve efficiencies related to shipment dates, container deliveries, and inventory flow.
  • Oversee the handover process from suppliers, ensuring on-time shipments and timely delivery of stock into the DC.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, stores, and the DC to promptly address any stock or delivery issues.
  • Act as a liaison with the planner and buyer to address any late deliveries and assess the impact on the department's sales plan.
  • Ensure effective communication between suppliers, DC, TFG shipping department, and merchandising departments.
  • Vessel tracking, liaison with TFG Shipping department, follow-up on supplier cargo handover, pre-allocation follow-ups and reporting.
Qualification:
  • Recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Finance or a related field or similar degree.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to supply chain optimisation
