Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of injection and blow moulds, dies, jigs, and tooling.
- Operate and learn to program CNC milling, lathes, grinding, and EDM machines.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
- Support toolmakers in fitting, assembling, and testing tools to meet required tolerances.
- Learn about materials, machining processes, and quality control standards.
- Participate in classroom and practical training as part of the apprenticeship program.
- Follow health and safety guidelines in the workplace.
- Minimum Qualification: Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science OR N3 Engineering Studies.
- Passion for engineering, machining, and precision manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and complete the trade test at the end of the apprenticeship.
- South African citizen with a valid ID.
