We are looking for Digital project traffic manager to work at well-established technologies company in Durban, Kloof.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and driving existing and new mobile digital projects. This will entail working closely with Clients, Business Development Managers, Developers, Support and Accounts to ensure all mobile digital projects are scoped, scheduled, planned and executed effectively and meticulously and to accomplish all project objectives within specified deadlines and to requirements.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' project or Traffic management experience in a digital agency;
- proven history of managing multidisciplinary teams in a mobile digital environment;
- current knowledge and a deep understanding of mobile and digital technology;
- valid drivers license.
Responsibilities:
- be responsible for planning and managing project resources and activities to ensure project objectives are delivered against budget, scope and timing constraints;
- work across a variety of digital mobile platforms, including SMS, USSD, Mobi, IMs (Instant Messengers)and in-house platforms;
- produce accurate, timely and functional project plans and scope change documents for each project, in response to client briefs and objectives;
- manage the execution of multiple fast-moving campaigns by managing workflow within multi- disciplinary teams;
- develop, maintain and ensure adherence to evolving project schedules from concept development through to production;
- be accountable for delivery of project on time with no issues and no skew from scope;
- be the primary point of contact for project delivery, drafting and delivering project communications, and proactively keeping teams informed through daily status documents, and status and scoping meetings;
- be the primary point of contact with clients and internal teams for identifying and resolving project issues;
- develop and maintain strict project documentation and archiving and assist in the management of 3rd party suppliers.
