Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Support the Learning & Development Manager in the design and development of training programs, including creating training materials, manuals, and visual aids
- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions for various departments, covering topics such as service standards, operational procedures, and compliance
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring adequate resources and facilities are available
- Administer and manage the hotel's Learning Management System (LMS)
- Provide support and guidance to department trainers to ensure consistent training delivery
- Promote a culture of learning and development within the business, celebrate employees who complete training programs, earn certifications, or demonstrate significant skill development
- Develop and implement initiatives that foster a positive and engaging work environment across all hotel departments. This includes creating and coordinating team-building activities, social events, team celebrations and recognition and other programs designed to boost employee morale and camaraderie
- Manage all internal communication channels (e.g., newsletters, Check In post, LinkedIn, bulletin boards) to keep employees informed and connected
- Responsible to coordinate the weekly HR newsletter, including L&D activities, on the job trainings/activities and social events
- Assist with other HR-related tasks and projects as needed
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in facilitating training in an engaging manner
- Knowledge of learning & development best practices and trends
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organising and leadership skills
- Experience with administration of a learning management system is advantageous
- MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to at least an Intermediate level
