The National Sea Rescue Institute will appoint an experienced Operations and Training Officer to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and readiness of assigned stations, and for the professional development of crew members through structured rescue operations training. In addition, this role is responsible for overseeing the operational deployment of assets, maintaining accurate crew and asset records, leading and mentoring volunteers, facilitating the full training lifecycle from material development to assessments, and supporting complex rescue co-ordination activities as required. The incumbent will be required to be on call 24/7.
The NSRI has 50+ stations, satellite stations and Lifeguard containers across a volunteer network spanning 1500+ volunteers.
