Sales Training Officer

Job Summary

The Sales Training Officer supports the sales department by providing support to assigned regions, managing the training team projects, and ensuring that all members of staff, , within the sales department are trained to an appropriate level, including training on our products at M-KOPA. The officer will also assess training needs, conduct monthly training with required delivery standards, and evaluate the effectiveness of training.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop training programs and materials that support the needs of the sales department, including our products.
• Support onboarding of new DSRs and monitor their performance.
• Deliver training sessions to sales staff, both in-person and remotely, that improve their skills.
• Oversee the performance of sales staff to identify areas for improvement and provide ongoing coaching and support.
• Collaborate with the sales management team to identify areas where additional coaching is needed.
• Develop and implement sales training plans to help achieve sales goals.
• Collaborate with our teams to ensure that sales training programs align with our goals.

Skills Required

• You communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, including sales teams and managers
• You understand the sales process and have a background in sales or marketing.
• You are experienced at creating and facilitating training programs that engage and inspire learners.
• You manage your own time, and the time of the sales team members you are responsible for training.
• You analyze sales data and identify trends, and assess the effectiveness of training programs.
• You adapt to changes in the sales environment and adjust training programs accordingly.

Experience Required

• Two (2) years experience in a sales or training role

Education Required

• Bachelor's Degree in any field
