Join Old Mutual s CA Training Programme where your career development is taken seriously through comprehensive study support, competitive remuneration, job rotation opportunities and leadership development.

We have an opportunity for individuals in both our Johannesburg and Cape Town offices who want to become well-rounded chartered accountants through an accredited Training Office. This is a 3-year training contract offered at Old Mutual. The Old Mutual Chartered Accounting Training programme (OMCAT) provides trainees with broad exposure in all spheres of finance as prescribed by SAICA.

Key Result Areas

Technical Competencies and Leadership Skills:

The technical competencies are in-line with the SAICA CA of the future framework.

In addition to the technical competencies mentioned above, OMCAT ensures that trainees obtain the necessary professional skills to become effective business leaders. Trainees undergo various leadership development courses provided by Old Mutual, SAICA and other external service providers.

Requirements: Skills, Qualifications, Experience required

• Proof of registration/ Pass in PGDA/CTA
• A South African citizen
• Strong detail orientation coupled with the ability to see the big picture
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High levels of energy, drive, creativity and innovation.
• Self-starter who shows initiative.
