Transportation Engineer (Pr Eng)

Our client is looking for a qualified and experienced Transportation Engineer (Pr Eng) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing road construction projects and ensuring adherence to industry standards, including COTO specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review designs, technical reports, and project specifications.
  
  
• Prepare and implement COTO specifications for road construction projects.
  
  
• Manage and supervise roads infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  
  
• Provide expert technical guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  
  
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure quality project outcomes.
  
  

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: NQF Level 7 or higher in Civil/Transportation Engineering or related discipline.
  
  
• Professional Registration: Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) mandatory.
  
  
• Experience:
  
  
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Transportation Engineering.
    
    
  • Proven experience in compiling COTO specifications.
    
    
  • Extensive background in Roads Construction projects.
