Our client based in Bryanston is a Fiduciary Services Firm that was founded in 2000 as a Boutique Independent Global Financial Advisory and Wealth Management Company.
They are looking for a Trust and Compliance Officer to join their small team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the company’s external compliance officer on FAIS compliance. This includes drafting policies/procedures; FICA requirements; prepping for FSCA compliance reports; dealing with ad hoc compliance queries.
Administration of Client Trusts
Drafting/reviewing trust deeds; drafting resolutions; preparing meeting packs; attending trustee meetings; agendas and minutes of meetings; ad hoc requests from clients etc.
Filing
Preparing FICA packs, cleaning up and implementing processes etc.
Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent writing/drafting skills and attention to detail.
The candidate will be responsible for the administration of client trusts. This includes She will also be responsible for drafting wills, local and offshore.
Work experience: 0 – 2 years in the industry.
Qualification: BCom or LLB (preferably an admitted attorney)
