Working hours: Monday - Friday: 07h00 - 15h00
Leave: Full time position, 15 days annual leave (usually we take a break over December and when our family goes away on holiday during the year)
Ages: 6 and 7 years old and will both be doing Cambrilearn Stage 3.
Duties: They are ahead for their ages, candidate will need to support kids being advanced in their learning.
Teach kids Cambrilearn Stage 3 in 2024. Mom prints work and gives lesson plans, the teacher must just teach and help them with workbooks/worksheets, assignments and tests. Also to be able to explain work and help where kids are struggling. Day is filled with other school/stimulating activities like building puzzles, music practice, yoga, fine/gross motor exercises, board games, reading, listening to stories, arts and crafts etc. Mom will help with planning days, but a candidate who can come up with their own creative ideas is ideal.
Requirements: Need someone energetic, busybody, someone proactive and passionate about teaching and developing kids, someone without dependents.
A qualified teacher would be ideal, but also open to someone with prior teaching experience (in Cambrilearn a bonus!) or a candidate who is academically strong.
Salary: Experienced Tutor: R13 000 - R14 000 per month. Qualified Teacher: R15 000 - R17 000 per month.
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
- Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
- Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
- Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must have a passion for children
- Must have Matric
- Must have a South African ID document.
