The University of Fort Hare
seeks to appoint suitable and experienced candidates for the above mentioned permanent post in Examinations and Graduation Department.

Minimum Requirements
  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with four (4) year experience at Examinations and Graduation office OR
  • 3-year relevant qualification (NQF Level 6) from a recognized tertiary institution;
  • 2 -year experience in examination and graduation administration;
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Integrated Tertiary Software (ITS) (Student)
Competencies / Skills:
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Good communication and telephone ethics
  • Excellent administrative skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work under limited supervision both individually and in a team setup;
  • Commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide support to Senior Examination and Graduation Officers with smooth running of examination and graduation activities;
  • Ensure all exam venue are booked, neat and labelled.
  • Ensure invigilation is adequate at all times.
  • Provide support in capturing submission of all graduation lists and other updates from Senate;
  • Liaise with academic and faculty representatives on matters pertaining to examination and graduation administration;
  • Ensure accurate capturing of examination marks and results data as well as graduation data on ITS database;
  • Handle enquiries both physically and electronically
  • Ensure proper filling of both examinations and graduation documents.
  • Provide support in inducting invigilators and ushers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.
