Electrician duties:
- Repair and carry out inspections of electrical breakdowns, ensuring minimum downtimel Install new electrical related equipment;
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks and identify faults;
- Produce full and detailed electrical updates, meter readings and conduct monthly earth leakage tests;
- Work on live equipment up to 380v;
- Participate in health, safety and environmental programmes;
- Issue certificates of compliance and low voltage permits.
Requirements to apply for this job:
- NTC2 qualification from a Further and Training Institution registered with the Department of Education;
- Recognized & valid electrical wireman's license;
- Valid code 8 driver's license.
Previous technical experience with an apprenticeship recognized by the Department of Labour.
