Job vacancy for a TLB operator in Brits, North West.
Job responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ability to perform in a team environment.
- Performs a pre-use inspection on equipment by means of a checklist / site declaration and reports deficiencies to Supervisor
- Transports equipment and material using a TLB according to standards and procedures
- Performs basic maintenance on equipment e.g. top up engine oil, water and hydraulic oil, checks for oil leaks and cleans equipment according to standards and procedures
- Performs end of shift procedures e.g. parks TLB at designated area, cleans equipment and reports to Supervisor
- Maintain safety, health and environmental practices according to standards and procedures
- Performs any other activity necessary for the effective completion of the work
Job requirements:
- Medical certificate of fitness
- Grade 10 certificate mandatory and a grade 12 certificate are preferred
- Competency certificate (TLB Operator)
- 3 years’ experience with mining background
