VEHICLE ENGINEER - (PA 1326)

Implement engineering development activities to assess, monitor and support component localization, quality improvements and complexity reduction so as to ensure quality, reliability and acceptability of vehicles.
Arrange that all identified engineering activities for a development process related to Vehicle Engineering are actioned to meet corporate timing objectives.
Evaluate, approve and release vehicles, rejecting any component or assembly that does not meet VW Group engineering standards, local environment and customer requirements.
Collect and release data related to the total vehicle and monitor technical changes to ensure suitability of proposed changes with respect to usage, function, safety and performance of product.
Produce cost-effective engineering solutions to resolve product problems.
To support production and suppliers in resolving technical problems and queries.
Represent Vehicle Engineering at all levels during divisional activities, by participation in projects, discussions and presentations so as to define/negotiate/agree on engineering requirements and/or support/advise on engineering matters
Monitor and check the function of all test facilities and equipment related to the section.
