Construction Foreman

POSITION: CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN RESIDENTIAL (UPMARKET)
Location: Hout Bay & Gansbaai, Western Cape
We are looking to appoint a highly experienced Construction Foreman with a minimum of 10 years proven experience in the upmarket residential building sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing high-quality residential projects and ensuring that work is delivered to the highest standards.
Project Locations:

• Hout Bay, Western Cape
• Gansbaai, Western Cape
• (Accommodation and Wi-Fi are provided for projects in Gansbaai)

Key Responsibilities:

• Full on-site management and supervision of residential construction projects
• Daily coordination and leadership of subcontractors, labourers, and artisans
• Ensure construction work is executed according to approved building plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Liaise professionally and effectively with clients, architects, and engineers
• Plan and manage daily and weekly site activities, including material planning
• Maintain accurate site records and reports
• Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure safe working practices on site
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional site environment at all times

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 10 years experience as a Construction Foreman in upmarket residential construction
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Confident and professional when dealing with clients, architects, and engineers
• Must be well-presented, reliable, and hands-on
• Ability to read and interpret building plans accurately
• Good general safety knowledge with the ability to implement and enforce safety procedures
• Must have own reliable transport,  cellphone, and laptop
