Wages Clerk

The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For
  • Compiling of the monthly and weekly wages payrolls.
  • Payment of 3rd Parties and Garnishees.
  • Accuracy in the administering of the wages function and attending to all queries in a professional manner.
  • Administering the timeous and accurate submission of all required returns in relation to the wage function.
  • Attend to the timely and accurate payment of all wages staff and making the appropriate statutory deductions and engagements in order to maintain and update payroll records.
  • Responsibility to assist the Human Resources Department in any and all functions.
  • Ensure all filing with regards to employees personnel files are up to date.
  • Any other duties and tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
  • Maintaining and implementing 20keys.
  • General wages administration.
The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements
  • Matric or relevant qualification.
  • Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent administration skills and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the Integrity Payroll system and the FIHRST Connect System would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in a wages/payroll department is essential.
  • Must be able to work independently and cope well under pressure.
  • It is essential that the successful candidate be self-motivated with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
