Looking for a Warehouse & Distribution manager to look after a warehouse for a leading company.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop and improve distribution networks through effective distribution planning
- Optimize stock levels, on time delivery from suppliers and reduce day stock count counts
- Manage and develop staff looking in terms of operational excellence and efficient use of SAP system
- Drive continuous improvement within the logistics division
- Manage fleet, fuel and cost of fleet maintenance
Job requirements:
- This role requires someone with exceptional analytical skills and the ability to effectively manage and improve the warehousing & distribution of products across the country with a very short lead-time. This is a development role and has the potential to grow into a more senior role within the company.
- BCom (Logistics / Supply Chain)
- 2 years’ experience within a distribution role coupled with management experience
- SAP (Plant Maintenance/TM)
- Excellent management and analytical skills
