About the Role
Lecico (SA) (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to manage day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a high-performing team. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a firm approach to stock control, safety, and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience in a warehouse environment (supervisory experience essential)
- Valid Forklift Licence
- Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (Granite & Sage advantageous)
- Proven ability to manage warehouse teams
- Solid understanding of inventory control, stock accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Supervise all warehouse activities: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Maintain accurate stock records using the Granite Inventory Management System
- Ensure all stock movements are correctly scanned and recorded
- Lead, train, and monitor warehouse staff, enforcing SOPs and safety standards
- Oversee forklift operations, housekeeping, and overall warehouse safety
- Drive continuous improvement and coordinate with Procurement, Sales, and Operations
