We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our clients team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role demands a proactive approach and excellent leadership qualities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric or NQF level 4 equivalent, including Mathematics.
- Supply Chain Diploma is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a Manufacturing or Warehouse Environment.
- Proficient understanding of a Quality Management System.
- Knowledgeable in Good Warehousing Practices and Procedures.
- Coordinating packaging availability against production
- Efficient handling of pick lists for upcoming production weeks.
- Monitoring equipment health and reporting discrepancies.
- Overseeing accurate and secure storage of goods.
- Swiftly managing packaging returns.
- Implementing a first in, first out stock rotation system.
- Leading year-end stock takes and weekly cycle counts.
- Supervising Bond store in line with SARS requirements.
- Strategically planning daily labour and resource allocations.
- Consistently evaluating and managing staff performance.
- Identifying and facilitating training needs based on a skills matrix.
- Upholding discipline in line with company procedures.
- Monitoring staff attendance and ensuring punctuality.
- Fostering a harmonious employee/management relationship on-site.
- Daily checks and signoffs on vehicle checklists.
