The Supply Chain Coordinator supports the Supply Chain Manager in ensuring seamless procurement, manufacturing coordination, and inventory availability across all starting materials and finished goods. This role is central to operational efficiency, cost control, supplier management, and ensuring compliance with food safety systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement:
- Place, track, and manage purchase orders for all raw and packaging materials
- Maintain up-to-date pricing, lead times, and supplier records in all company systems
- Coordinate printed packaging: manage artwork changes, approvals, and supplier communication
- Handle local and imported materials logistics with Warehouse and freight agents
- Negotiate improved pricing and terms where possible
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with food safety compliance (FSSC 22000)
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in all company systems
- Maintain and update the production schedule in all company systems
- Communicate manufacturing orders to the warehouse; ensure timely picking and material dispatch
- Monitor production lead times and escalate risks proactively
- Assemble finished goods in the companys ERP system, and manage related documentation storage
- Ensure full traceability and audit readiness for all procurement and production activity
- Standardize documentation across all company systems
- Maintain and verify food-contact material compliance documentation
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, or production coordination (3+ years preferred), ideally within a manufacturing, FMCG or regulated environment
- Proven ability to manage suppliers, place and track purchase orders, and maintain accurate procurement and production records
- Strong Excel and systems proficiency. We use Cin7 Core (formerly Dear Inventory) as our ERP System, ClickUp for task & project management, and Microsoft 365.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong planning skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation ability
- Understanding of food safety documentation and regulatory compliance, including traceability and supplier documentation requirements
- Own reliable transport required; must be available for inter-site travel, supplier visits, and occasional local collections or deliveries if urgently required
- Calm, composed and dependable under pressure
- Proactive in resolving bottlenecks before escalation
