Boilermaker

Our client based in Potchefstroom is seeking 3 Boilermakers to join their team on a Contract basis.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Cut and prepare raw materials, shape, fabricate parts, and weld components.
• Position, align, and secure structural parts and related assemblies
• Manufacture and install accessories needed to integrate systems
• Erect fabricated structures for Pre-Delivery Inspection
• Assemble modules and structures
• Packaging of plants for shipment, installation, and commissioning

Essential Knowledge And Skills

• An in-depth understanding and working knowledge of the manufacturing/fabrication environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience in planning and implementation of work activities
• Good understanding of explosive environment regulations
• Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with multiple disciplines both internally and externally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy

Job Requirements

• Qualified Boilermaker with Red Seal Trade Certificate
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Boilermaker
• Coded welding qualification and experience will be advantageous
• Experience in an explosive environment will be advantageous
• Good communication, planning, and organizing skills
• Highly organized, punctual, and self-motivated
