Job Overview:
As a Junior Digital Marketing Specialist you will play a crucial role in our digital marketing efforts. You will work closely with our experienced marketing team to execute online campaigns, analyse performance data, contribute to the development of digital marketing strategies, integration of CRM systems, building of websites and market research. Key Responsibilities:
1. Web Development
- Assist with the development of mobile responsive, tailor-made websites for our clients.
- Utilize content management systems (e.g., WordPress) to build and update website content.
- Create and customize themes and templates as needed.
- Ensure the proper functioning of plugins and extensions.
- Develop systems to assist in conducting comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and industry benchmarks for our clients.
- Analyse market data and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide regular updates on market dynamics and their potential impact on the business.
- Develop and execute online surveys and reports on data.
- Analyse customer data to segment and profile target audiences.
- Use customer insights to guide product development and marketing strategies.
- Develop systems to assist in monitoring and tracking competitors' products, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Create competitive intelligence reports to inform decision-making.
- Identify gaps in the market and recommend strategies to stay competitive.
- Assist in managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) under the guidance of senior team members.
- Help create ad creatives and ad copy that drive conversions.
- Keyword research
- Custom audience building and targeting
- Collaborate with the team to develop social media strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and refine integration strategies that align with the company's business goals.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency through integration.
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions to connect diverse systems, including ERP, CRM, e-commerce platforms, and third-party APIs.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity during integration processes.
- Support email marketing campaigns, including building and sending emails, segmenting lists, and analysing campaign performance.
- Assist in the development of email marketing strategies to nurture leads and retain customers.
- Work on improving website SEO by conducting keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with SEO best practices and algorithm changes.
- Analyse data from various digital marketing channels to assess campaign performance and provide insights for optimization.
- Generate regular reports on key performance metrics and present findings to the marketing team using Looker Studio/Data Studio.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years experience
- Strong passion for digital marketing and eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
