Workshop Supervisor

Location: Verulam, Durban, SA

Key Performance Areas

• Responsible for preventive maintenance of the fleet
• Responsible for repairs on vehicles and trailers
• Optimise the availability of vehicles and trailers including breakdowns
• Ensure that vehicles comply with statutory requirements and company standards
• Maintain and improve cost tracking system and identify cost saving opportunities
• Ensure work performed by third parties comply with the service level agreement
• Responsible for effective procurement
• Responsible for managing the tyres.
• Manage & Supervise people including performance management
• Responsible for daily weekly and monthly reporting

Qualifications Required:

• Matric

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 3 years related experience.
• Excellent Computer Literacy Excel
• Above average interpersonal, analytical and investigative skills
• Energetic and able to work under pressure
• Problem solving skills and analytical ability
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Willingness and prepared to work long hours including telephonic assistance after hours
