URGENT:BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT- ICT.Umhlanga, KZN
Perm post. Salary R 25-35K pm plus commission
This opportunity is with a company that sells products on behalf of Blue-Chip South African companies across the Telecommunications, Banking and Insurance sectors. They establish trust with customers using world-class technology and quality management processes by staff members.
JOB PURPOSE:
This position requires a pro-active, efficient and professional individual, who is solution-sales focused, self and target driven and will be responsible for generating new business, developing sales strategies and building strong prospect relationships.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Achieving, exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
· Identifying and contacting sufficient number of clients to build an individual pipeline that will lead to the achievement of monthly sales targets
· Grow own portfolio of clients and build on existing business
· Planning an approach to these customers that addresses their business requirements
· Building and administrating relevant sales and client contact information
· Secure new business opportunities that result from telephonic and direct sales contact
· Processing external and internal documentation to validate customer booking
· Understanding the business drivers around the customer’s ICT requirements
· Creating a differentiated value proposition that addresses these business drivers
· Manage client payment requirements and BPS policies
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Minimum 3 year’s business development experience gained within the IT sector
Proven Track Record
Good network of customers and key decision maker relationships
· The ability to be persuasive and present a compelling reason for clients to do business with BPS
· An established network of contacts required
· Strong networking ability and excellent presentation skills
· Strong communication skills both written and verbal
· Listening and questioning skills to influence challenging situations
· Excellent computing skills are essential
· Resilient and tenacious in character
· Able to work independently to ensure that required sales targets are met and exceeded consistently.
