• I completed my course for auxiliary nurse at Barberton Hospital 1984 after receiving my Grade 10 certificate at Barberton High School. I worked in different wards after my training as auxiliary nurse. I have 5 years experience in Geriatrics ward. • I also managed my own small business, but sold the business in 2007 due to the safety risk in the area. • After the business was sold, I was employed at the Barberton Medi-Clinic and also worked temporarily for Lowveld Nursing Services. • I am employed at Herfsakker Old Age Home. My position is Senior Auxiliary Nurse. My duties are: giving out medication for the elderly. I’m in command of 84 elderly people. I am also in charge of any wound dressing. I also call out the doctor, as well as the ambulance in case of emergencies.
