QUALIFIED FOUNDATION PHASE TEACHER FOR GRADE RR (4-5 years old)
The ideal applicant will meet the following criteria:
- Be a fully qualified Foundation Phase teacher
- SACE Registered
- Drivers License
- Current valid police clearance
- Current valid clearance from the sexual offender's database
- Current valid First Aid certificate
- Inclusive education experience
- Experience with working with children on the Autism Spectrum, or with other learning/physical challenges
- Knowledge of sign language, or be willing to learn such before taking over their own class
- Experience in developing and working with an Individual Education Development Programme (IEDP)
- Experience in teaching the above age group
- Traceable references within a teaching environment
- Identify with and contribute to the Christian ethos and values of the school
- Be willing and able to teach the Christian religious education syllabus;
- Be available to attend workshops, courses, school functions and educational outings and tours, outside of school hours;
- Be willing to become fully involved in the school's curricular programme;
- Have own reliable transport
