External IT Hardware/Software Sales Consultant: Min qualifications/educational levels required: Matric (Grade 12) - Vendor Enterprise Solutions Support Engineer (ESSN) Hardware Product Sales Certifications (Dell, HP& Cisco) - Software Sales Certifications an advantage (Microsoft, Adobe, VMware.etc) - CompTia Certification A+ , N+ (Preferable) - Certificate in Information Technology (an advantage) - Diploma in Information Technology (an advantage) Min: 2 Years IT hardware/software ESSN sales exp - Proven Sales Track Record with references - Sell & Promote ESSN (Enterprise Servers, Storage & Networking) Products offered to potential customers - Communicate with both clients & potential clients in order to fully understand needs& wants of the clients IT systems - Achieve monthly gross profit target - Schedule at least 10 new customer appointments per week - If provided with an existing base, manage, analyze/grow these accounts – Establish, maintain client’s relationships to ensure repeat business - Fully understand companies value proposition, product range & services - Attend mandatory training to develop relevant knowledge & skills on Servers, Storage & Networking products - Furthermore complete certification exams relevant to the products& services provided by the company - Maximizer Database info as well as load all opportunities on the company CRM system - It is expected that your pipeline reflects at least x 3 of your target - Sell & Promote SLA’s to existing/potential customers - Attend monthly KPI sessions where measurement of personal performance is discussed with action plans put in place - Job Requirements: Ability to understand the needs of the clients urgently in order to achieve optimum service - Ability to be able to learn/update your knowledge of IT Ind - master the range of product specs - Strong selling/comm skills - Previous exp in similar IT position is essential - R20 - R30k + Comm
