A logistics company requires the service of a qualified and experienced accountant to perform diverse accounting duties.
Job responsibilities:
- Full accounting function to Trial Balance.
- Completion of Monthly VAT returns using Efiling.
- Preparing Tax calculations.
- Processing foreign payments.
- Preparing year-end audit packs.
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
- Complete Balance sheet and income statement account Reconciliations.
- Fixed Asset Management.
- Petty Cash review and approval.
- Assist in Budget Preparation.
- Review and approve monthly Creditors Reconciliations.
- Provide backup to Accounts Staff.
- Staff management.
Job requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Diploma in Accounting or CIMA Management Qualification.
- Pastel experience.
- Must have an assertive and strong personality.
- Must be able to communicate well at all levels.
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
- Previous experience in the logistics industry would be an advantage.
